' Insalata's in San Anselmo or bust!

Insalata's in San Anselmo is an example of California cuisine at its finest.  From the food, to the atmosphere and friendly people, they have created a slice of dining heaven!  Insalata's has been one of my favorite restaurants since my husband Kirk and I enjoyed our first date there in 1998.  That is where I learned that he eats to live and I live to eat.  Guess who prepares the meals at our house?

Now, 15 years later, Insalata's is featuring Five Vintners as their March winery of the month.  You can enjoy Five Vintners Sauvignon Blanc and Zinfandel by the glass or bottle every day, but on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings in March, Insalata's is offering a prix fix menu for only $29.50 that includes a 3 ounce pour of both the Five Vintners Sauvignon Blanc and Zinfandel.  The menu will change weekly, check this out:

I will be there on March 20th to enjoy dinner and make sure I love short ribs!  Join me if you can, but make sure you take time to seek out this fabulous restaurant whenever you have time.  If you are from out of the area, this is a great stop between San Francisco and Napa and Sonoma.  Located in the heart of Marin County, San Anselmo and Insalata's are just a short drive West of Highway 101.  For more information you can visit their website, http://www.insalatas.com/index.html.

Make sure to say hello if you are at Insalata's on March 20th!

Cheers,
Krisi
